About The Author


William will shortly graduate from Masters course at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, where he is a Drapers Scholar. As well as pursuing a busy freelance career as an orchestral musician, William has performed on many occasions at the Brecon Jazz Festival, worked as a session musician for the Pop industry and gives lecture recitals on historically informed performance.

As a soloist William has performed for the 2006 Battle Proms, sponsored by Classic FM and given further solo performances on both modern and period instruments in Great Britain, Ireland and Norway, including Bach’s famous Cantata 51, Scarlatti’s Su le Sponde del Tebro and Handel’s Let the Bright Seraphim and The Trumpet Shall Sound.

William's graduate studies took place at Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, where he received a BMus (Hons) 1st Class degree, and the Norwegian Academy of Music in Oslo.
